A pure mind sees purity everywhere, because one can see purity within. Purity lies within the story, and you will see the intention has purity within.
Lord Shiva has not given any preference to either Gods or Demons, to humans or ghosts. All to Lord Shiva are good and pure within.
This is why Lord Shiva is loved, this is why Lord Shiva is the God of Gods.
