नवरात्रि में सातवें दिन मां गौरी या पार्वती की पूजा का विधान है। इस देवी का रूप भयानक है। अंधकार की तरह काला रंग लेकर शुभ-निशुभ राक्षसों को संहार करने के कारण देवी के इस रूप को कालरात्रि कहा गया है।
Kaalratri is the seventh figure of Goddess Durga and is supposed to protect all her devotees from trouble and evil and grant them with freedom and happiness. Maha Saptami is the beginning of Utsava Puja and the colour of the day must be ‘Blue‘ for devotees.
