TO REMAIN IN CONSTANT AWARENESS OF GOD

Photo: TO REMAIN IN CONSTANT AWARENESS OF GOD

I saw this beautiful pic on the net, and at first thought that the whole Universe is going into smoke and flame. Then , i thought the whole Universe is emanating from Shiva. And then i saw clearly, that it was the Bhakta's Rudraksha Maala that was being merged with Shiva. What a contemplative idea: All does come from Shiva, to Him it returns back. The Kashmir Shaiv Darsana : Kashmir Shaivism says the five principal acts of Shiva are:
Sristi: Creation
Sthiti :preservation
Samhara: Dissolution
Vilaya: obscuration
and finally Anugraha: Grace.
Vilaya means 'to hide" and anugraha means "to reveal" When Lord Shiva Graces us, we see clearly that we are never separate, He is always with us! Shiva is often called the destroyer, but Shaivism does not think of dissolution as an end of the world! Rather, by revealing Himself, Shiva destroys your wrong ideas about separation from Him, and you are merged back to the source. This, is Jeevan Mukti for the bhakt. :

Not to end the cycle of birth and death, but to remain with the constant awareness of Shiva is the only Moksha of the Shaivite .
Aum Namah Shivaye!
