Special prayers are held at Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar temple on the auspicious occasion of Holi. Thousands of devotees gather at the temple premises to witness the early morning Aarti of Shri Mahakal Jyotirlinga. After the Sandhya Aarti, colours and flowers are offered to Shri Mahakal.
