Ganesha was born as an obedient child. This is proved by many of the stories mentioned in Shiva Maha Purana. How Ganesha placed himself squarely at the entrance of Maa Parvatis chambers. There's no getting past him. Enraged Shiva beheaded Ganesha by unfair means. This story clearly depicts Ganesha as lawful and obedient child. At the cost of his death also, he maintained the dictum of his mother. He was so fearless and obedient in letter and spirit that Shiva blessed him to be worthy of worship forever. Shiva gave him the name Vighneshwara, one who can remove obstacles. With an elephant head, potbelly and a mouse for a vehicle, Ganesha had many obstacles to overcome from the outset. He converted perceived disadvantages into advantages. Shiva got pleased with his sharp acumen. Therefore he bestowed a boon that people would worship him and invoke his name before undertaking any venture.
When Devi Parvati comes to know about beheading of her son, She insists Shiva to revive Ganesha and she takes on a formidable, destructive form. It was however, impossible to make Ganesha alive in His original form. So, Shiva instructs that another head must be joined to Ganesha’s body before sunset, if any animal is also willing to give its head up, that head should be brought and fixed. Gajasura was an elephant that Shiva doots come across. Gajasura had performed severe penance to please Shiva. Gajasura requested Shiva to remain in his belly; but Brahma and Shri Vishnu dissuaded Him from doing so and in turn bestowed a boon that in the future, Gajasura would always be with Shiva. This highly learned Gajasura gets an opportunity to take advantage of that boon so he becomes very happy and gets ready for the sacrifice. His head is brought back and joined to Ganesha’s body and Shiva revived Ganesha.!! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘πŸŒ™πŸ˜πŸπŸŒ·πŸ’€πŸ”±πŸšπŸŒ€πŸƒπŸ””πŸ”±πŸŒ·πŸ“ΏπŸ•‰πŸ™πŸ»
