There is a different kind of attraction in Lord Shiva. Because Shiva is beautiful, he is a god of the rebels. He doesn’t really differentiate between the Devas and the Asuras, he is a one-woman man who is passionately in love with Maa Parvati. He is a brilliant dancer and a consummate musician, and he is the author of the Vedas. He in one hand conceals the mystery of the universe and on the other balance it with deep meditation, the practical inactivity. For this he is addressed as Rudra, the God of fear and destruction And Ashutosh, who is ever satisfied, respectively. Shiva is Yogi, always immersed in his Dhyana. And from Shiva, we get the knowledge of meditation since the rise of civilisation. He is Adiyogi who taught the science of yoga to sapt rishis.
Shiva is a very knowledgeable, democratic god, who treats his devotees with respect. At the same time, he has this love for bhang, whoever has a streak of rebelliousness in them, would find Shiva very attractive. Develop Sakhya Bhava for him. Sakhya-Bhava is the cultivation of the friend sentiment with God. To be always with the Lord, to treat Him as one's own dear relative or a friend belonging to one's own family, to be in His company at all times, to love Him as one's own Self, is Sakhya-Bhava. The devotee of Sakhya-Bhava takes up with eagerness any work of the Lord leaving aside even the most important and urgent and pressing work, assuming an attitude of neglect towards personal work, and totally concerning himself with the love of the lord. Such a love is developed towards God instead of towards man. Physical love is turned into spiritual love. There is a transformation of the mundane into the Eternal! 👁🐍🌙💀🔱🌿🕉🌀🌷🔔🐚📿🎨
