RECHARGE

RECHARGE
A long time ago, when cars were just invented, most people were just happy riders- they did not know the intricate details of how the battery on which the car runs, also needs to be 'charged' in turn, and a special machine which did this was called the dynamo.
But in our times, thanks to modern devices like our cell phones,
we are all so familiar with the fact that the batteries that 'run' the device need charging from time to time. Even our carrier sims, cable networks, Netflix subscriptions etc need a recharge:
That is just the way things work!
In a very similar way, earlier it was only some rishis and yogis who understood that our very soul also needs to be 'charged' with Divine consciousness. Swami Vivekananda was famous for saying that he used to charge up his soul in meditation whenever he felt low.
Today, in our times when the world we are living in, is more like a global village, and where, for example, the internet brings the world literally to our table, like an efficient server in a restaurant presenting your favourite dish, so now, if we want- we can all have access to the description of many various methods of self discovery , like Dhyana, Reiki, Pranic healing, Tai chi, Chakra healing and so on. However, the common denominator remains the same:
We need a method to recharge our self, we need a divine dynamo.
This beautiful painting shows so delicately how Mahadeva Shiva, the greatest Dhyani, master of Divinity Himself, He who charges the whole world, holds in tender reverence His eternal soulmate, His Shakti, who's very presence rejuvenates His heart.
Aum Namah Shivaye.
