The ancient Rishis of Kashmir hailed the great Mother Goddess as the power behind all of Shiva's acts, who stirs the Great God out of His endless meditation in 'Pratham spanda', and urges Him to creation.
Ma Shailputri is Herself the Pratham - first manifestation who sets Shiva Mahadev in Spanda- creative vibration, to set foot upon our earthly stage, and bless us with His presence.
