There is an old Shaivite saying " The best way to worship Shiva, is to be like Shiva"

We cannot create confusion in the Universe by wanting God to be One thing and being quite a different thing ourselves.

We have to set the right 'Intention" for our own path and direction if we want God to help us.

We must think of ourselves as a part of Mahadeva's team, a part of His family, like one of his ganas, and then conduct ourselves with others. Ask yourself, if you were part of Mahadeva's own tribe, how would you behave with others?
