If enlightenment is the culmination of meditations, then must life end with its achievement? That would be absurd, wouldn’t it? So that is not the final state, the trek must go on. Like you yourself inferred, we start this trek looking for solutions to sorrow, and what solution do we come up with? Negate the whole of life, that will rid you of sorrow; this is wrong inference. Much like destroying the whole Universe because part of it is wrong? asked the Yogi. Life, must begin with enlightenment”.
