In the story of Lord Hanuman we see represented a great hero who is completely devoted to his lord, to his master, to his guru: Shri Rama. He has Bhakti, Shakti, Vidya and Seva-Bhava, Brahmacharya and Nishkamya-Bhava. He never boasts of His bravery and intelligence. He said to Ravana, "I am a humble messenger of Shri Rama. By the command of Lord Rama, I have come here. I have come here to serve Rama, to do His work. I am fearless, by the grace of Lord Rama. I am not afraid of death. I welcome it, if it comes while I am serving Lord Rama." Mark here how humble Hanuman ji is! How devoted He is to Lord Rama!
After the defeat of Ravana, Rama and Sita are crowned King and Queen of Ayodhya. Hanuman ji is offered a reward for his bravery and asks only to continue in service to him and to live for as long as men speak of Shri Rama's deeds. He remains as Rama's favourite general to this day.
Because of his bravery, perseverance, strength and devoted service, Hanuman ji is regarded as a perfect symbol of selflessness and loyalty. Worship of Lord Hanuman helps one to counter the bad karma borne out of selfish action, and grants the believer fortitude and strength in his own trials during the journey of life. Hanuman ji is also invoked in fights against sorcery and protective amulets depicting him are extremely popular among his devotees.! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ•‰๐ŸŒ€๐Ÿ“ฟ๐Ÿต๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
