Why God doesn't answer my prayers. Why does he bless some and does not bless others ; some of you may be concerned about this. Dont misunderstand god and his purpose in your life. Believe that what ever you ask for and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds. God does answer the prayers of his devotees. He makes the sun rise and he makes the sun set. He makes all things possible for each of his devotees, regardless of wether they love him or not, if only we open our eyes and heart to realise this. God responds to the devotee’s every effort, every devotional call. Even as a novice, you will realise this in your own seeking if you learn to recognise Him as the quiet, inner peace that steals over your consciousness. This peace is the first proof of God’s presence within. You will know, it is He who has guided and inspired you to some right decisions in your life. He blesses everyone. He is the life behind your life, the sight behind your eyes, the taste behind your tongue, and the love behind your love. To realize this to the fullest extent is Self realization. Without God's power you can do nothing. If you always hold this thought, you cannot go wrong. The good that he is working in your lives, whether it feels positive or negative, is to make you better human. If your circumstances are not conforming you to be more spiritual, you are missing the primary purpose of what God is writing into your life. Be his true devotee and accept every challenge happily. The relationship between a devotee and God is only Heart to Heart and Love to Love. True devotion lies in obeying the Lord and spreading His message. There is none greater than a true devotee in this world. It is total dedication and surrender to the Lord that impels God to be with the devotee. A true devotee does everything as a service to God. He sees God in everything. He recognises the manifestation of the Divine in all the creation. Better indeed is knowledge than mechanical practice. Better than knowledge is meditation.
