Is money the root of all evils?

Is money the root of all evils? 

Is money the devil that separates friend from friend, spouse from spouse, children from mother? Is money the cause of all the disparity between filthy rich and hungry poor? 

But we all need money to survive. Yes, we need money but our ignorance drives us to the edges where we start to be possessive about money and a time comes when money possesses us. It is like alcohol. As long as you need it, it is fine but when alcohol needs you, you are finished.

As such there is nothing wrong with “money” it is for ‘use’ but unmindful of its purpose, we start to ‘abuse’ it. That is the problem. Controlling money is fine but when money controls us, we are in trouble. We become drunk with its evil effects. Look at the economic scenario of the world of economics!!!!
