Har Har Gange ~ Jai Shri VishnuNarayana ~ Jai Jai Bhole Namah Shivaya
Greetings to everyone from Hari Ka Dwar ~ abode of Shri Vishnu smile emoticon Gateway of Moksha, Haridwar is considered as one of the seven holiest places and is also the host point of the “Kumbha Mela”. If there is one place on Earth that brings you closest to God, it is Haridwar. In Haridwar you can find God everywhere: in the temples, on the streets, and even in the eyes of the lakhs of devotees. It is this presence of God that makes this place the holiest of all. Har ki Pauri is the holiest ghat. All the pilgrims take a dip in it, as it is believed that taking bath in the holy water of river Ganges washes away all the sins and purify one’s mind, body, heart & soul. Haridwar Is also known as Ganga Dwar, because the holy Ganges enters the plains here. Suryavanshi Prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth form Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sixty thousand sons of King Sagara. In the traditional of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, praying for salvation of their departed elder.
More pictures to follow, today ESP from Hari Ka Dwar. Blessings and more blessings to all of u ~ Sarva Jana Sukhino Bhavantu!!
