TO RELIVE A WHOLE ETERNITY
Shiva could not understand why his heart started beating hard. He could hear sound of anklets in a sweet rhythm .He could not see the princess just yet, but realized that he was actually eager to know what she looked like. He admonished Himself inwardly for this ‘lack of control’. Why was he becoming so eager? And how long would this princess take to appear in front of Him?
Sub consciously He was being reminded of something, but he didn’t know what.
“Aum Namah Shivaye”, finally, she was front of him and she had the most magically lilting voice.
Suddenly it struck him like a thunderbolt: “Sati” said Shiva inaudibly to Himself.
“My Lord, This is my daughter, Parvati” declared Himavat,blissfully ignorant that Shiva’s eyes had become wet .
“Parvati” said Shiva. And then went silent,as if to relive a whole eternity.
