When you are looking for a pen, but do not know what a pen looks like, how do you know what to look for?
Similarly, when people look for Shiva externally, they will not find Shiva.
What's the first step to finding?
Realizing. You have to first know what a pen looks like, and where to find it.
You have to REALIZE WHO SHIVA REALLY IS.
Shiva is the universe. You are Shiva.
To look for Shiva, look within.
If you want to worship and love Shiva, then worship and love everyone.
That's where Shiva is.
The statues, the pictures we're looking at. They're representations of the philosophy. They're reminders.
It is strange to find someone love a representation of Shiva, and yet when it comes to a fellow living being, they mistreat them.
If you mistreat a living being, if you do not respect a living being, you re mistreating an disprespecting Shiva.
When you use profanity against another person, when you are talking ill of another person, you are using profanity against Shiva, you are talking ill of Shiva.
Now, reflect.
