Don't Go On Doing A Post-Mortem Of The Past All The Time

Don't Go On Doing A Post-Mortem Of The Past All The Time -

There are some who justify their actions all the time, and some who finds fault with themselves all the time. Both will create a sort of imbalance. Take a middle path, where you can look into your actions to see how you can improve and at the same time, look forward. See what you want to do, move forward and drop the past. Don't go on doing a post-mortem of the past all the time.

Love with wisdom is bliss. Love without knowledge or wisdom is pain. Why is there pain in love? That is what you are wondering or questioning about! It is not love which is giving you pain. If it is just purely love, that means you just care for someone, you want the best for them, and then there is no pain. But when you want something in return from them or you have demands from them, then there is pain.

Q: Guruji, how to leave the intellect and go back to innocence? By doing so, does it not become acting?

Guruji : When the intellect matures, you become innocent. Also even when emotions take over, then also you will move into innocence. Innocence is one aspect of your life and everybody has it. What comes in the way is the concepts in the intellect, such as judgements, or thinking that ‘I know it all’, or ‘I know it better’, etc. That is what blocks the intellect from maturing fully. Meditation and pranayama help you to reverse the journey back from the intellect to your innocence. Also, when there are people who know much more than you and you feel, ‘Oh, I know very little’, then also innocence will simply come up in you. When you make an assessment about yourself that is wrong, then that may cause you to feel out of touch with your innocence.

Om Namah Shivay.
