Parvati as Adi Shakti Durga. This is the mysticism of ancient Hinduism
Parvati as Adi Shakti Durga. This is the mysticism of ancient Hinduism: It is the same who is Sati, it is she who is parvati, She it is who is Durga as an incarnation, and even after she takes a birth in Human frame, she can assume Her cosmic power at any time. She it is who births the world as Jagdamba, she who feeds us as Annapurna, She can also level us to the ground as Kali, or raise us to the sky as Kalayani. She it is ,who is the beloved of her Lord Shiva, She it is who implores this enigmatic ascetic to make an appearance on Earth, be her Husband, and also, most importantly of all, TEACH his children spirituality, Often questioning Him about the significance of texts and scriptures, mantras and meditations, the answers to which she already knows! but such is the compassion of the mother, she wants His answers to be heard by the Universe. This, is true Mamta ( motherly compassion) The word itself means a sort of motherliness.
And so it is that Shivji transmits to all His creation, the greatest of all understandings:
That all Life emanates from One pristine consciousness, gets sustained in it, and eventually dissolves back into it, for yet another Rejuvenation, in an endless cycle of infinity. And this pristine consciousness is Shiva shakti themselves,
the eternal parents of All Life.
Aum Namh Shivaya! jai Durge Ma!!
