USE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IN A MOOD OF SERVICE

USE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IN A MOOD OF SERVICE :

Suppose you give a person a donation of ten lakh rupees to build a nice temple, and he spends half of the amount to buy a nice car, then another quarter to buy an expensive watch, and the balance on the temple. Later when you examine the progress of the temple construction, and are disappointed, he asks for more. Would you give him more money? No! Because you’d reason that he hasn’t used properly what you gave him earlier. Similarly God has given us wonderful resources-intelligence, determination and will power. He waits to see if we are using it in proper consciousness, for selfless service or our own aggrandizement. If we aren’t using our abilities in a God conscious way, for His service it will sooner or later be withdrawn. One who uses these precious gifts to increase and fulfil his own sensual desires, he’s certainly a thief; sinful (Bhagavad Gita 3.12). On the other hand, when we use everything in a mood of service, He assures us that He shall carry what we lack and preserve what we have.

Om Namah Shivay.
