Belief In Rebirth : 

Belief in rebirth and contextual thinking, make up the cornerstone of Indian thought. These ideas are what distinguish philosophies originating in the Indian subcontinent from philosophies of the rest of the world. The assumption is that our life is not singular; we have infinite opportunities to transform ourselves, change our view of the world, change our goals and our gaze, depending on the context, and of course, if we allow our mind to do it. When we realise the power of the mind that can transform and expand, death no longer frightens us; we no longer seek to control ourselves or the world around us; we do not seek perfection in ourselves or the world around us; we simply go with the flow, enjoy the crowds, and the many patterns within apparent chaos.
