Yearning For The Divine

At birth, every child has Divine qualities, but these get clouded as years pass till he gets more and more entangled in the great illusion or maya completely forgetting his aim in life. Therefore, God takes the form of the guru for his spiritual progress. If a seeker has intense yearning, he receives God’s grace which leads to his transformation.

Learning helps us crystallise our aim. When an intense desire for liberation develops, the Guru’s grace rains upon us. We know God is in charge of all that happens to us, so in the larger perspective, nothing can go wrong. In difficult situations, seekers are aware that the guru is trying to teach them something — one grows from the situation instead of being defeated by it.
