Hanuman Ji is known to be the most greatest devotee of Rama. He is said to be the god of power, wisdom and knowledge. Hanuman ji is the greatest and ultimate avatar of Shiva manifested in order to remove all evil that existed and flourished in the world. Although, Hanuman Ji is considered to be powerful since birth, there was a specific event that took place in his childhood that made him more powerful and most strongest warrior ever existed. He is blessed by all deities and is powerful among all gods. As a child when Hanuman Ji tried to grab Sun thinking it was a mango, Sun faught with hanuman ji. Hanuman Ji thrashed Rahu. Rahu provoked Indra to kill hanuman ji. Angry Indra fired his vajra, thunderbolt at hanuman Ji who became unconscious and fell down on earth. All the deities then blessed Hanuman Ji with strong powers. Brahma gave him the boon of not getting killed by any weapon in war. He also gave power of removing fear in friends, and ability to vary his form and structure as per will. Lord Shiva gave him scriptural wisdom, prolonged life and power of flying across the ocean. Indra blessed him body to become stronger than his vajra. Varuna blessed him of remaining protected in water, and Agni blessed him of immunity against fire. Surya gifted hanuman ji with yogic Siddhis with which he could change his body to smallest or biggest form. Yama blessed him of immunity again his weapon danda. Kubera blessed hanuman ji to remain happy and contented. Vaayu blessed hanuman ji to travel faster than air.
It is because of these obtained powers, Hanuman Ji was able to help Lord Rama defeat Raavan in Lanka. Vajra of Indra on Hanuman jis jaw created a permanent mark on his chin which gave him name Hanuman. Man means disfigured or prominent, before this Hanuman Ji was called Maruti! 🐒💪🐵 Jai Shri Ram ~ Jai Rudra Ke Roop Hanuman!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
