Everyone's worship is the same, carries the same dignity, Though the rituals may differ.

"Sab ki puja ek si, alag alag hai reet, masjid jaye maulavi, koyal gaye Geet" ~ Everyone's worship is the same, carries the same dignity, Though the rituals may differ. The priest goes to the temple to worship lord And the the bird sings, thus performs worship. The seed of Bhakti is planted in everyone, though most of us are unaware of it. Devotional love, the love one has for the divine whether they are Hindus, Christians or Muslims exists in everyone. This pure, unselfish love is just waiting to be unfolded and to manifest itself within us. We must only water the seed so our Bhakti can unfold and open up inside us. Bhakti is a very powerful means to realise our true self and to establish our true nature within us. When the seed of Bhakti is allowed to grow and flower, it envelops our whole being with pure love. Among the nine methods, Kirtan is truly powerful form of Bhakti. Kirtan destroys all sins and purifies ones mind and heart. It gives divine bliss and is surest way to be one with God. During Kirtan, if one is absorbed in it, nothing else matters. One forgets everything else and simply dances, chants, and claps their hands for the pleasure of the Divine. It is indeed food for the soul. The Holy Names of The Lord is powerful. Kirtan is the yoga of devotion, the yoga of wisdom, and mantra, the yoga of sound. Kirtan is meditation and if you chant mantra quietly to yourself, even when you do asana, your asana practice will benefit greatly. In this current age of struggle, Kirtan is said to be the supreme form of yoga and supreme form of devotion! "In Kaliyug, singing kirtans and dhun will give us the same punya as performing yagna, tap, and vrat." ~ Shreemad Bhagvatam
Love, peace & blessings
