He is Sadasiva. He is the root-cause of creation. From Sadasiva creation begins. He is Svayambhu. He is unmanifested, He destroys the Tamas caused by Pralaya and shines as the self-resplendent light bringing forth the five great elements into being. As per Shiva Purana, He is beyond both Prakriti and Purusha. Shiva is Maheshvara . He is the witness, well-wisher and nourisher of all beings. As per Gita, Maheshvara conducts the work of creation according to His will and pleasure. Know Prakriti to be Maya and Maheshvara to be the wielder of Maya or Prakriti. The Sakti of Siva works in two different ways. Mula Prakriti and Daivi Prakriti. The controller and dispenser of these two Prakritis Shiva. He is truly the great nourisher, just like fertiliser nourishes an improvised and dying plant, he nourshishes the lives of his devotees, or those who chant his name. those who are devotees of shiva are somewhat fearless, no problems are too big for them because their problems are his problems!!
