Lord Shiva is often called the Destroyer.Though this means different things to different people, for the devoted Bhakt it means simply this: the ultimate destruction Shivji , as the Adi Guru aims for, is of the sense of duality. You are not separate from the God you seek.And shall never be separate.
To understand this is Enlightenment and Moksha.
