Shiv, The auspicious, also means one in whom the whole creation sleeps after dissolution..
The word Dissolution is very important for a shaivite bhakt. .
It is different from thinking of life being "Destroyed"
it is diametrically the opposite:
Lord Shiva, called destroyer, is actually the Resting place of all of us, after our life"dissolves".
