All this is SHIVA. From HIM the universe comes forth, in HIM the universe merges and in HIM the universe breathes.

"All this is SHIVA. From HIM the universe comes forth, in HIM the universe merges and in HIM the universe breathes. Therefore a man should meditate on SHIVA with a calm mind. Now, verily, a man consists of will. As he wills in this world, so does he become when he has departed hence. Let him with this knowledge in mind form his will".
How loving and kind He is! He even wears the skulls of His devotees as a garland around His neck. He is an embodiment of renunciation, mercy, love and wisdom. It is a mistake to say that He is the destroyer. Shiva in reality is the regenerator. It is easier to please Shiva than anyone else. A little love and devotion, a little chanting of His Panchakshara is quite sufficient to infuse delight in Shiva. He gives boons to His devotees quite readily. He gave Pasupatastra to Arjuna without difficulty for his little penance. He gave a precious boon to Bhasmasura. In Kalahasti near Tirupati, He gave Darsan to Kannappanayanar, the devoted hunter who plucked his two eyes to replace the weeping eyes in the Murti. He ran with tremendous speed to make the boy Markandeya immortal, when he was in the clutches of Yama. Ravana pleased Shiva with his Sama chantings. When Brahma and Sri Vishnu went to find out the head and feet of Shiva, He assumed an infinite, expansive blaze of light, Jyotirmaya-Svarupa. How magnanimous and self-effulgent He is! Mediate now and realise Shiva with love & Sincerity! Om Namah Shivaya !!
