Wisdom is a quality of consciousness, a quality of life, and this gets transferred by good company.

Wisdom, it's not attained just by reading a lot. Wisdom is a quality of consciousness, a quality of life, and this gets transferred by good company. Human beings need light when it is dark, they need the Guru Tattva. People living without knowledge are equivalent to animals. Meera, a devotee of Krishna, could not make progress without a Guru. She went to Saint Raidas who became her Guru, and she sang ‘Payoji Maine Ram Ratan Dhan Payo‘ ~ today I got the most precious wealth. Though she was a devotee of Krishna, the Guru gave her the mantra ‘Ram‘. Though Rama and Krishna are completely opposite. Whatever Rama did, Krishna undid it all. Rama was born at 12 noon and Krishna was born at midnight. When Rama was born there was a big celebration, but when Krishna was born there was fear all around. Rama was born in a palace, Krishna was born in prison. Rama will not cross the line and would obey what his father said, and Krishna never listened to his father. "Payo Ji Maine Ram Ratan Dhan payo", Meera sang all the time with love of Krishna in her heart. Even though her Guru gave her the mantra ‘Ram’, it did not cause any conflict in her, she chanted Ram and loved Krishna. Whatever religion you are born into, it doesn't matter. The spiritual wisdom carries you forward, so honour the knowledge. It is a great wealth. ~ Meera Jai Shri Krishna ~ Hari Om tat sat Namah Shivaya !
