Navratri is celebrated four times a year. They are the Magh Navratri(Gupt Navratri in January) the Vasantha/chaitra Navratri in April, Ashad Navratri(Gupt Navratri in July) and Ashwin Navaratri in October.

They are the Magh Navratri(Gupt Navratri in January) the Vasantha/chaitra Navratri in April, Ashad Navratri(Gupt Navratri in July) and Ashwin Navaratri in October. Though Ashwin Navratri and the Vasantha Navratri of the Chaitra are very important and known to everyone, the other two navratra's are known as gupt navratra are equally significant and are meant for sadhaks. During these auspicious days, extensive prayer is offered to request earnestly Goddess Durga for blessings. Along with Shri Durgasaptshati, Shrimad-devi Bhagwat, Devi Mahaatmya and other texts invoking Goddess Durga are cited during this period of nine days. Ashad Navratri, 17- 26th july, are very auspicious days. By keeping fasts, chanting shlokas and mantras, the devotees show their regard for the Goddess. It is believed that during Navratri, the Goddess promptly heeds to devotees and fulfill wishes. Gupt Navaratri is very powerful and yield quick results. If you truly expect fruitful results in life, this is very auspicious opportunity for you. During this occasion, you can heartily please Maa Shakti and get her immense blessings. For pleasing Maa Shakti you need enormous devotion in your heart and strong faith toward the Goddess. These are few mantras which you should chant atleast 108 times daily.
1. "Yaa Devi Sarvabhooteshu Shaantiroopena Samsthitaa Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah"
2. Mantra for welfare ~ "Sarv Mangala Mangalye Shive Sarvarth Sadhike Sharanye Trayambke Gouri Narayani Namostute.”
3. Mantra for overcoming problems ~ “Sharanagat Deenart Paritranaparayane Sarvsyartihare Devi, Narayani Namostute.”
4. Mantra for overcoming fear ~ “Sarvaswarupe Sarveshe Sarvashakti Samanvite Bhaye Bhyastrahi Nav Devi Durge Devi Namostute.”
