Lord Krishna came rushing to save Draupadi, when she called on Him when kauravas, Duryodhan tried to disgrace her. Lord Vishnu came down to earth to protect Gajendra, the elephant from the clutches of Crocodile and awards him salvation and he goes to Vaikuntha with Vishnu. Again Prahlad was saved by Vishnu.
